Senior Buyer
POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a Senior Buyer to join our dynamic team at Kobelco Stewart Bolling, Inc. This role is is responsible for both domestic and international purchasing of materials of a complex and technical nature for the manufacture of KSBI products. Transactions require dealing with suppliers and often involve persuading potential suppliers to undertake the manufacturing of custom designed items according to rigid specifications. This position manages all aspects of procurement and supply chain, including source identification, vendor audits, vendor development, RFP/RFQ’s, order placement, quality, and logistics. In addition, this position is responsible for identifying value engineering opportunities (cost savings/avoidances + improved quality) and project management.
